Foster North London, brings these six councils together to help recruit and support more foster carers across the region. By working together, we can provide a simpler and more consistent experience for people who are interested in fostering.

Once you have read the information and think fostering may be for you we recommend your next step is to attend one of our information sessions. These sessions are run by members of the fostering team along with an experienced foster carer who shares their fostering experiences.
We talk about fostering basics and what you can expect when you become an Islington foster carer as well as taking you through your assessment journey and the benefits of fostering with Islington. There is also the opportunity for you to ask questions and to chat privately.
Sessions are run regularly at either 10am or 6pm to try and give you the best opportunity to attend. We also alternate between online and face-to-face sessions.
